Ed Brown, retired Idaho highway worker

      KENDRICK - Ed Brown, a Kendrick resident and retired Idaho Highway Division maintenance man, died Saturday at the Latah Care Center at Moscow of causes related to age. He was 83.
      He was born July 21, 1904, at Southwick, Idaho, to George and Cora Brown, and lived his entire life in the Kendrick-Southwick area. He attended school at southwick.
      On Nov. 27, 1925, he married Lula Weber at Asotin. She died April 18, 1986. Brown, Bessie (Brown)
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and rewinding motors.
      Survivors include three daughters, Pearl Jensen of Moscow, Kathryn Wohllaib of Alvin, Texas, and Violet Osborn of Kendrick; two sons, Kenneth Brown and Donald Brown, both of Kendrick; two sisters, Goldie Tempero of Spokane and Martha Sapp of Medford, Ore.; 19 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. A grandaughter, a brother and five sisters preceded him in death.
      A funeral is planned Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Malcom's Brower-Wann memorial Chapel at Lewiston with the Rev. Samuel Stedman of the Victory Tabernacle Church at Clarkston officiating. Burial will be at Kendrick City Cemetery.
      The family suggests memorials may be made to the Latah Care Center at Moscow.
